1. Copy the cimarkdown.php to your libraries directory

2. Load the cimarkdown library in your controller

$this->load->library('cimarkdown');

$this->cimarkdown->markit($markdowndemo);

where $markdowndemo is a variable which contains the markdown text entered by the user
