A small realtime chat application made with a Laravel backend with API endpoints and a ReactJS frontend.

1. Install composer dependencies by running composer install in terminal.
2. install npm dependencies by running npm install in terminal.
3. Configure database vaiables in .env file.
4. Build Laravel Elixr frontend files by running gulp in terminal.
5. Migrate the database php artisan migrate.
6. Start the backend server php artisan serve
